It was the city of New York website and they put it there so those of us in the public can be informed enough to recognize when discrimination takes place.

But he has a ticket for that one particular performance, and when he arrives they will turn him away because of his gender.

I agree - but the law doesn't.

The NYC law says that a place of public accommodation can not deny entry based on gender or gender identity, and that even advertising that they intend to do so is a violation of the law.

Can't you see that the person I responded to made the argument for being able to turn people away because they could be served elsewhere? Do we have accommodation laws or not? Progressive rules seem to be that you can turn away who you want but no one can turn you away. This is the law you wanted, so stick to it, it

I'm sure the Christian owned bakery wasn't the only place in town t buy a wedding cake, and plenty of others would have been glad to present the cake at a gay wedding…but the law says everyone must be accommodated, amirite?

That does look like a touch up of the Vancouver skyline.
