Totally agree, the tacoma has ridden the competitive vacuum created by the chix tax far too long. It needs better mpg to stay competitve, the current v6 mpg gives no reason to pick it over a full size except that you want a slightly smaller truck. No thanks. I love the car, it's sexy as hell. But, it's not a V8. To me, the V-line is all about loud, massive power. As F1 has taught us this year, a turbocharged engine is too quiet. Unless this girl makes noise, I'll pass.
