So. . . is Tilda Swinton free?

Cape? Looks more like a longcoat.
The thing that really worked for me was that the audience’s view of what life after the Snap is like for the average person comes through the eyes of a gay man.
Was it really that much of a twist? I mean all of the few Kree that we have met have been bad people. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. had a whole season of the Kree being pretty nasty. You would have to ignore all of that to be fooled into thinking that the Kree were, or even can be, good guys.
My daughter, with a little guidance, discovered Doctor Who lately and she loved it. We started at season three for some reason and skipped the scarier ones (although have since gone back and watched most of those too). Then we got up to the last season.
Aaron Paul is nearly enough to get me to watch more of the naval gazing gimick-fest.
It’s a common misconception that the Many Worlds Interpretation requires every possible timeline to exist. It merely says that the quantum state of the universe can be a superposition of multiple individual measurement states — that alternate histories can exist, not that every single one does. There’s a recent variant…
So, first, change is not going to happen overnight. Second, the writing of tv shows may allow for a whole staff but the writing of comics (and especially novels) often falls to one person. This presenta an issue. It isngoing to be almost impossible for a given writer to belong to every existing marginalized demographic…
It bothered me that everyone else looked like they were dressing for survival - Kelly’s costume looked like ‘who’s up for the Apocalypse rave?’. Kelly went through a lot to get the crew back and fix her mistake - the costume didn’t reflect her journey
The double homage to star wars of the doors of Jabba’s palace and the doors of the shield generator on Endor was great. It was an epic mashup/lovenote.
My biggest hangup with this show (I loved the first season and lost a ton of interest in the sexo d season) is that so much of the drama and plot boiled down to Character A not telling Character B something. It could be some important piece of intelligence, how they were feeling, or something that was happening.
It was also cancelled because, well, the ratings sucked. And, as you pointed out, the show wasn’t getting great reviews (like Legion was) nor was it really that easy to explain the show to a casual viewer (“So it’s like the X-Men, but without the X-Men? But it also follows this family where the kids are mutants, but…
Humans have been undergoing exponential population growth for their entire history.
Thanos was an idiot. First of all, he killed off more than half of all life. How many school bus drivers or passenger plane pilots got dusted, killing everyone in their vehicles? What did those vehicles crash into? I haven’t seen anything that said the snap was evenly distributed. Maybe he only killed one of those…
Can I just take this moment to confess that when watching Age of Ultron for like the 10th time two days ago it finally clicked that Cap was referring to himself when he said...
Third wave feminist logic: On the one hand, women are at least equally, if not more capable than men at everything, on the other hand, women need more and more and ever more government programs and regulations to achieve their goals.
Don’t forget Jeremiah among his notable sci-fi roles.
My mom just sent me a ton of issues of Amazing Science Fiction from the 40s and 50s that her father had in his attic. They have been exactly like that, but fantastic because of it.
Ah yes, the old “anyone who doesn’t like what I find funny has no sense of humour. And is sexist.” Argument.
I’ve tried to watch 2049 4 times already and can’t stay awake. That movie gave me narcolepsy.
