Despite Hollywood turning the monster into a grunting child, in the book he’s quite euridate and learned how to read in no time. He could very well be stitched up Sherlock Homes by the 21st Century.
He’s better off leaving Marvel, especially with how Thor: 3 treated the first two installments. I hated that movie because it spent so much time insisting if you liked anything about the previous two you had bad taste.
Unfortunately, Hela wasn’t queen of the realm of Hel. Then all of the Asgardians who died, including the Warriors Three, could have been her army.
I’ve actually had a lot of issues with this season, and it’s because they’re just assuming they’ve had continued seasons up to this point, and as a result they aren’t explaining anything. I’m not saying everything should be resolved or covered, but I’m often left asking “who’s that,” or “wait, when did that happen?”
Oh, are they adding Power Girl to the team?
One of my major gripes about this show is that it feels like a lot of huge moments happen off-screen. It’s a bit like reading the tie-in comics of a crossover, but skipping the main event. I know there’s a very detailed timeline and series bible, but not enough of it makes it to the screen.
Yeah, I got the same gross vibe from the episode. And I found I don’t give a damn about Michael and Spock’s relationship. It was obviously a heavy point of the episode- they want us to believe there’s some gravitas between them, and so far I’m just not buying it. Michael’s relationship with Sarek & co is, in my…
I came away from the episode thinking Michael and Spock had a Lannisterian relationship at one point. Maybe she “helped” him through his first pon farr, and things developed from there. But eventually they mutually realized it was inappropriate and ended things, but still have a deep bond. It was just a thought…
My dear Millenials, don’t let yourselves be deceived by “Sandy” Stalin’s sweet lies. She may seem “cool” and “with it” but in reality she leads down a dark path indeed!
hey politions,
I’m sure it sounds contrarian to say that I’d rather watch Charlie Sheen’s Arrival than Villeneuve’s, but it’s true. There wasn’t a single moment in the latter film that wasn’t predictable. At least, the former had Sheen at his heaviest, with some solid paranoid thriller chills, and a sadly still relevant theme. Plus,…
People hate on the Moffat era, but I think of Vastra, Jenny, Strax and Missy (along with River and Nardol) and how much *fucking fun* those characters are and I’m bummed they’re being wiped away and why I’m not really watching the show rn.
Um, I don’t think this in any way makes him a ‘hero’. It just puts an asterisk next to some cold-blooded shit in Avengers like stabbing Colson through the chest and, you know, calling in an attack on New York.
At no point do you bother to explain to us laymen what Ultima Thule actually is. A well written article does not end with the reader having to resort to Google to find out what the article is actually about.
“There’s always
Legends of TomorrowCustodians of the ChronologySirens of Spacetime to fill the fun, campy defenders of the timeline niche.”
Sexual harresment is the new craze and everybody is jumping the bandwagon without knowing the facts or waiting for the outcome of on independent investigation. This is more scary to me than the allegations are.
It’s painful to the ears to watch Marvel films
““When I drift off, I will dream about you. It’s always you,” he concludes, with the “you” presumably being Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow).”
