Thinkgeek didn’t go out of business. They were purchased by Gamestop for $140m when they decided gamer swag and nerd tchotchkes might compensate for the struggling used game market. Buying someone who does that was easier than developing it themselves.

They DID open ThinkGeek stores, there was one in my local mall, and it was great. They just decided to completely kill off ThinkGeek and good merchandise and pivoted into pops and shitty FnaF merch.

Biggest money saving they could do is dump the CEO. Their email was a waste of time and money and I am willing to be he delegates 90% of anything he is supposed to do. He probably delegated writing the email.

Maybe somebody will finally change the PSN+ prices back to normal and create a TRUE essential tier that’s just for game saves and online multiplayer. I have wayy too many games in back log and I’m 40 now; I play sprawling epic MMOs and RPGs and indies. I don’t need a bunch of free games to justify a price hike.
