My favorite show of all time; I’m currently in the middle of my fourth rewatch. I think the whole cast is top notch, but the characters of Nora and Pastor Matt, especially, are so beautifully written and acted, every single one of their scenes is riveting. Plus, that scene in the second season between Nora and Erika

Lightning in a bottle. There will be good and great shows but Parks and Rec will never happen again. There was no real cut off point, but Season 3 is TV nirvana.

Found Brendanawicz everybody!

I mean this genuinely and sincerely: these are the kinds of articles that I have missed on the A.V. Club. More of this, thanks.

I’m starting to think you came here just for the zipline...

“I’ve really showed them who the real comedy-knowing adult in the room is,” he chuckled to himself, shutting off his computer with a satisfied grunt.

Exactly. I'm 43 and I've laughed harder at this show than anything else I can remember. It's fine if somebody doesn't care for it but yeah maybe it's just not for you and not that everyone else is pretending.

You can just not like it without insinuating that it’s only stupid sheep who do.

I’d argue the Roches’ “We Three Kings” belongs up there.

Well, you got the Bing and Nat ones, but you left out

Andy Williams, the red one
Annie Lennox (seriously, how could you leave that one out, it’s freaking awesome!)
John Denver & the Muppets

It’s definitely the car’s problem.

They should just rename the show “Murray’s Family” and then eventually rename it again to “The Goldbergs”.

At this point it’s going to go on longer than the actual 1980s.

Murray died on the way back to his home planet.

Who is Alex Trebek?

The Middle was doomed by its title. Which is unfortunate, because it was simply one of the best (and most consistent) family-friendly comedies of the decade with an amazing cast.

All of my favorites are on here, with one exception -

The Middle is one I would definitely put on this list. Funny and rather true to life.

I like the Good Place a lot...but far too high. Bojack should take its spot.

This is generally true except for “Real Salt Lake” which is truly an abomination.
