Sadly Google isn’t all that great with the Play store searches either. A regular google.com search often works better. In my limited experience, it is better than the App Store. A search for “nintendo switch online” came up as the last item on the first screen though for me.

Yup, this works, and as you said it usually annoys them. Additionally, if they are adamant about getting that information, it’s a good time to just say you’re no longer interested, thank them for their time and leave.
