Sadly Google isn’t all that great with the Play store searches either. A regular google.com search often works better. In my limited experience, it is better than the App Store. A search for “nintendo switch online” came up as the last item on the first screen though for me.

Yup, this works, and as you said it usually annoys them. Additionally, if they are adamant about getting that information, it’s a good time to just say you’re no longer interested, thank them for their time and leave. That will usually change their tune quickly. If it doesn’t it’s probably not a business worth dealing…

If you have 2-3 friends or family that will split it with you, set up a NAS or file server in each persons house and sync them up, preferably using encryption and a VPN. Great way to make sure you have multiple backups that are accessible from anywhere and own your data.
