tldr; It’s very unlikely. LCDs won’t have any difference since they are lit using a backlight. OLEDs are a maybe, but probably not. It might use more, but either way, it’s probably a negligible difference.

I kind of see it the other way around. I’m the best MK player out of all my friends and family. Without blue shells I win most races by a huge margin. The equalizing weapons keep the races close and engaging. I still crush most tourneys but everyone has fun.

Memorial Day is supposed to recognize fallen service members, so when I think about it, it just seems wrong to market that with sales for whatever crap that’s going to be on sale anyways. But we commercialize everything in the US.

I’ve always felt like certain holiday based sales marketing were just perverse. Memorial day and Good Friday just seem like weird to associate with buying stuff to me.
