Yeah, and it doesn’t yet support video out without the proprietary dock. That’s some Apple/80's Sony style bullshit. The difference is when Sony or Apple pull that, it’s because they were the biggest name in the game, Nintendo is basically in 5th place out of 3 and following a good, but failed console

It’s a problem that didn’t exist. When I travel I like to take as little with me as possible. Sometimes I leave my laptop behind and take a tablet. I never take my laptop dock. You know why? My laptop has a standard video out port built in and my tablets have MHL/casting/Miracast/Airplay, etc built in.

People who travel are often more concerned with size and weight. I have many docks for many devices, even laptop docks that cost nearly $400. None of those docks ever travel with me.

And you would think that 15 years later Nintendo can learn and have these accessories ready for a product they advertise as a portable home console

That has nothing to do with the fact that there should be a standard output port on the device itself. There should be something like a mini hdmi, displayport, or better yet, a USB-C port directly on the console. 

I almost went NP, but no title, questionable range and the schoolbus yellow paint job put it in CP territory for me. Very few cars pull off that color, and this ain’t one of those

TBH, I will be happy when my Mini Cooper S finds a new home. I love this car, more than I ever thought I would. I’ve driven it and I’ve cared for it.

I still use My Tracks since I haven’t found anything I like as much. Unfortunately I have to manually back up trips, but it still works

That sucks. I’m planning on eventually getting a switch and 100% of my AV equipment is either behind the TV or in another room. I literally have no spot to put the switch near my TV

Ha, yeah, I just saw a seemingly stock Ford Explorer pull up in in the grocery store parking lot with an LED light bar behind the sunroof. And it was mounted directly to the roof and not on a rail. It was also half the width of the car and just looked way too small for an explorer. I couldn’t stop staring at it

For me it’s pretty simple. I love these cars and would love to own one, but supercars and hypercars take so much of what I love about cars away. Yes, they are probably super amazing to drive, but what’s the chance that I’d wrench on one? Probably slim to none.
