Microsoft is moving towards Windows as a service rather than the product. If users start to purchase programs from their store like for iOS, Google Play and XBox, then the OS starts to become less important as a revenue source. This also allows for all their platforms to have a similar interface, seamlessly share apps

While it’s true that innovation requires a lot failures, in this case Tavarish is pointing out that this company is fleecing taxpayers by getting government grants to work on a project that can’t possibly work. If they want to put their own money into development, at least for me, it would be perfectly fine.
