One of the times I saw them was on a remarkably strange triple bill with Shudder To Think and Soul Coughing the day before Thanksgiving in '94. The room was about half full, and divided into thirds between fans of each band. Whenever one band would go on, their fans would crowd the stage and then retreat to the back

Hmm, I think they have one of the most distinct sounds of the era, but hey, different ears for different folks or whatever.

The best underrated group ever definitely rhymes with "Hum." It's Come. Eleven: Eleven, Don't Ask Don't Tell, and Near-Life Experience are all flat-out classics. Gotta love the one-word mania of the '90s.
