That could convince me. They have a much warmer sound than my Grado SR225i's, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. In fact, for uncontrolled environments, I prefer a warm sound.

Then you've never worn leather earphones on a hot sweaty day. Your ears can overheat in leather pad pretty easily.
