I bought a slim soft-touch case for my 4S as soon as I got the phone. I was sitting in my bike-rental kiosk, and a guy walked buy talking on a 4/4S, sans-case. It looked so good. I realized mine was now just a black rectangle, utterly uninspiring and bland.

That's the aforementioned Barbour Cavendish. [www.orvis.com] It's a 4oz. weave, though, and I might recommend the Barbour Wessex instead (it's a 6oz. weave) [www.orvis.com] They're pricey and finicky, but I think they're worth it.

Aah, if only the Patagonia jacket was a slimmer cut. They've sized themselves for "typical Americans" these days, it seems. I love that texture, though the REI Thorofare jacket has a similar finish, for about $100. [www.rei.com] No word on how it fits.
