There is a history of thyroid problems in my family (sister, grandmother, male cousins, etc) and my doc just tells me I’m overweight and won’t check for thyroid issues. He’s the 2nd doc I’ve gone to about this and I get the same thing. What do I have to do to get this checked out?

That is the greatest Shaggy EVER!

If the weather is shitty by any means, Wife and I will tip more than usual. Being former servers, we rarely tip under 20%. They have to be really bad to get 15%.

We’ve both agreed that neither of us want to do any of it, but that’s part of being an adult lol

My wife does most of the cooking for dinner. She finds it therapeutic, so I’m cool with that. There are certain cooking tasks she leaves up to me, baking, curry, spaghetti sauce (4 hour cook down). I do dishes every night for the ones that must be hand washed. She unloads the clean dishwasher and I’ll load it. I

Sometimes!

We’re still in the Daniel Tiger phase.

Or do what my wife and I did: have a kid.

I have a BA. In Theatre. I work in IT. I make significantly more than I did before I had my degree. Keep in mind I graduated high school in 1998 and from university in 2007. Why theatre? It was my passion, still is to some degree, but it’s such a well-rounded degree if you go to the right school.

I had a panic attack when I was a junior in college. I ended up quitting school, my job, and moving into my parent’s basement for a year. Ended up finishing school a few years later, where I met my wife. That panic attack was both the best and worst thing that had happened to me in my twenties.

With as crappy as my work wifi is, having the WiFi Assist on will actually save me some data as I usually have wifi off at work. I’ll test this theory over the next week or so.

Easy! Move 13 hours away from all of them. That’s what I did.

Being an asshole will only get you what you want at an Apple store.

I worked at Lonestar Steakhouse years and years ago as a waiter. I had three guys come in once, probably in their mid-twenties. They were the ones who graduated college, but never really let go of the frat boy attitude. They each ordered the smallest sirloin on the menu, but gave me this instruction on how to cook

Yikes! I’m happy to say I’ve never experienced anaphylaxis. I’m not allergic to any foods.

I’ll 100% agree with that! Just kind of a pain to pretty much have to take the next day off of work because all I did was get a shot, but yes, better than tetanus. Last time I had to get it was when my wife was pregnant, they made us both get the Tdap. She was totally fine and I was miserable the next day.

Damn tetanus shots put me down for an entire day. Generally the day after the shot. Whole body hurts, can barely move. Hate that damn shot.

If there is seating at the venue, do not be an asshole when the people who purchased those seats show up and want what they paid for.

Don’t waste your time trying to figure out what you did wrong after she left. She’s the one who cheated and left you. Don’t take 7 years to realize you weren’t the problem.

It’ll be a cold day in hell before I recognize Missourah!
