Bought it for $10 2 weeks ago, and it was a GREAT buy. Story’s solid, combat is fun, jumps are heavy but agile; I’m digging it, glitches and all

“The first thing I did was jump, expecting it to feel unwieldy like it did in Mass Effect: Andromeda“
I mean, I kind of agree with him re: people who say ‘like’ and ‘oh my god’ a lot (it does come off a bit ditzy) but I would never tweet about it (not that I tweet). It’s the sort of judgy, bitchy comment I reserve for close friends, not public broadcast.
Obsidian is making other games you know, if you’re not too busy claiming that Fallout 3 sucked: Have you played PoE2: Deadfire yet?
Last year episode 6 gave us Maeve in one of the most wrenching moments in WestWorld, her walk through the facility with Felix.
People complained about the core gameplay changes from the traditional Halo experience (having abilities, removing dual wielding weapons, etc.), but if you base it on its own merits its a fucking fantastic game. I think some people were also disappointed in forge world, but I may be mis-remembering that.
That happens all the time in media. Moby Dick was considered a shit book when it was released, now we call it a classic. It’s almost impossible to really judge new things that come out, especially ones attached to a popular franchise because so many people have their own opinions and ideas of how it should have been…
Everyone complained about Reach at release. It’s amazing how it’s now heralded as good.
Well, that is one beautiful game engine.
Better than sitting on a franchise and never releasing a sequel again. Though, at least the Halo games have been mostly of decent quality. Still waiting for a true sequel to Jet Set Radio.
Microsoft kicked off its E3 2018 press conference with a small teaser for the next Halo, called Halo Infinite. If…
Not me apparantly;).
My only surprise is that it took them THIS long to make an RTS revival for mobile. Even more surprising that Blizzard wasn’t the one to do it.
I think you’re overreacting because its EA
The idea that it’s only “hardcore” gamers that watch these press events is antiquated and shows out out of touch “gamers” really are. These things are a cultural event. Everyone watches them, from the person who injects kotaku into their veins to the person who only buys Madden and Call of Duty every year. To demand…
But it’s developed by the fucking bioware guys!
I really don’t understand the hate the movie got. I’m not a super fan or anything, but I thought it was a pretty good movie, and that Kelly was good in it. I thought the whole casino part was a bit slow, but that’s not her fault. I will never understand the people who didn’t like the shoulder brush.
Asshole gamers do this so much then those incels wonder why the only female interaction they get is from the Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball body pillow they imported. What purpose does it serve to be an asshole like this over a video game, other than just to be an asshole?
Damn. Siege was pretty friendly back when it came out.
