You (and many people) are confusing two distinct issues. The 1475 missing kids arrived in the US as unaccompanied minors in 2014-15 and were released to sponsors by the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement. In late 2017, HHS discovered that these 1475 children are no longer with

WTF are you on about? There is no circumstance where the “destination” of these kids is relevant.

For what it’s worth I understand what you’re saying, and have been working through this conversation with someone I’m close with. Men aren’t a monolith, and flip dismissal of attempts at progress are liable to push men who were examining their own actions (like Bateman) back to the comfy status quo out of frustration.

I don’t see any reason why they can’t continue being artists. Now, whether they’re popular artists or not is up to the audience.

Are you kidding me? The racist electorate of the USA elected Donald fucking Trump in response to him being in power 8 years. The same Donald fucking Trump that is now spending every waking moment undoing everything he did. And he abandoned his public?

The the World building in character development in The Stormlight Archive is amazing. Brandon Sanderson is in my opinion the greatest thing to happen to Fantasy in a long while. His Cosmere Universe is one of the best I’ve seen in awhile.

You should check out the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson and The Black Prism by Brent Weeks. If you liked Locke Lamora, I bet you’d enjoy them.

He has a real knack for prose, and his writing is evocative without bogging down the reader with too many details.

This is really a problem with the white community. Parents need to tell young Chester and Margie to turn down the violent country music, learn to speak correctly and spend more time lifting books and less time lifting trucks.

I went back and played NMS a few months ago, after reading here about the Galactic Hub reddit/discord having to relocate after a major patch. Jumped back into the game and enjoyed myself for another few weeks as I warped to the new Hub, claimed my first planet and built my first base.

That lead to finding a different

Ok, so, developers and producers, take note. This is how you maintain a game.

I always liked NMS, I never bought into the hype, and it was what it was. Played it with my wife, too. I take breaks in between, but with this update, I will be jumping headlong into it with her again. We love co-op games.

Sure, you have the right to complain, but if somebody didn’t ask for your criticism and you start complaining at them anyway, that’s what makes you an asshole.

This man is too good for us. We don’t deserve him.

Amos: “You’re not that guy.”

“Not providing a back story for your villain (and constantly creating baited detours for what it may be) makes the villain more mysterious and threatening.” That was what I always thought was the best part about The Joker as a character. He doesn’t need a backstory. He’s inexplicable, a creature who can’t be
