Hey Drew, I admire Thom Yorke’s decision to go all in on looking like a homeless Willie Nelson impersonator.

What the hell is Dwayne Casey doing?

Yeah, too meta, but:

As a poet once wrote:

+200 cc twice daily of a proprietary BALCO formulation

I bet Kulpa didn’t even check the PSI of the ball.

Montreal, Mexico City, and the Marlins to Havana.

This was fun. I prefer writing over speech, and have seriously spent weeks in long, brooding silences.

I fully expect to stay grey on Jez, but this was a great overview of a cultural landscape.

Why couldn’t Dolan do something useful like Trump and destroy the GOP?

Actually, you made me want to listen to Kid A while I work today.

Sure. That’s all possible. But he’s probably also running against Hillary, and you can’t underestimate the contempt “the inbred mouth breathers” have for all things Clinton.

You know, after Snyder’s long history of overpaying for over the hill free agents and the RG3 and Out trade fiasco, even that shirt is a stretch.

Caps collapse, followed by another Nats post All-Star break meltdown, then a slide right into the Skins yearly failure, only to have it all wrapped up with the Trump inauguration in January.

I agree with the management aspect, but as for the ideological and philosophical concerns, I disagree completely. Since the Carter Administration, the economic move has been toward the Right, culminating in the globalist New Democrats and the Third Way, where we have been stuck for 25 years.

By the same token, as this Democratic primary vociferously demonstrates, the mainstream American “Left” long ago gave up any serious philosophy of economic equality in favor of identity politics, unless that economic philosophy can be couched in identity politics.

Hey, I’m not a conservative, but there’s serious conservative philosophy out there.

Nope. But the ones that are there aren’t exactly NAFTA-friendly.

I’m from there, too.

True. But this is the first election since LBJ where class is front and center, thanks to both Bernie and Trump. If Hillary wants to win PA, she’ll have to win Philly and the suburbs by a very large margins.
