When we first brought our rescue home, we were not sure if he was housebroken so when we had to leave him alone we put him in the laundry room behind a baby gate. Got home and he was asleep on the couch, the gate was still up.

I like that when the guy picked up the puck the dog looked ready to make a grab for it. I would have loved if he’d thrown the puck and the dog took off after it dragging his handler with him. And then, of course, skidding along the ice because he doesn’t have traction.

I would assume that a rich guy’s pure-bred is chipped so even without a collar animal control or a vet should be able to identify the owner.
The dog might be microchipped? I think a collar is good regardless but not strictly necessary if the dog is chipped.
