82 degrees is hotter than hades? I just got back from Paris, which is in the middle of a heatwave, and walked 9 miles in 93 degree heat in jeans. I’m not ready to make this out as more than it is, but 82 degrees with 40% humidity is not that hot, especially when you’re just standing around.

HW might be the most underrated president of all time. Won 4 conflicts/wars, saw the USSR fail, ushers down the Berlin Wall, signed the ADA (2nd largest civil rights leg ever), started a period of 8 years of economic growth. Basically lost re-election over the stomach flu.
