TBH, the FAA numbers are a lie. How many of those 45,000 flights are either freight or civil aviation? Subtract those out and you’re cutting their reported number by as much as 2/3. Now you’ve got 2.7+ million people moving on 15,000 flights. The news industry isn’t alone in having credibility issues.
