You know, I don't even care about how he died - and I am a nosy motherfucker. It's just - his scenes in Magnolia when he is desperately trying to connect - they just ring so true to me. He and PTA made some amazing movies.

RIP. Of all the actor-director collaborations, his and PTA's was my favourite.

I would sign the second one, if it ended with "He's a real human being. And a real hero"

"If you can put Don Cheadle in your movie, you should put Don Cheadle in your movie" - Steven Soderbergh

which is a shame, cos its an awesome title

David Blaine repeating "see how it really looks?" is the creepiest/best thing I've ever heard

Ok, going to have to call you on your bullshit there. I am Kazakh and grew up there. That description of Zhanaosen is government bullshit. Even if there was a riot, what would you say about the accounts of women and the elderly who say they were kept in basements and beaten for days after being arrested? And Zhanaosen

Depends which Democrat though - if you vote Sherrod Brown or Elizabeth Warren or Maria Cantwell, you can legitimately make the case youre voting for someone who cares about you. If the democrat on the ballot is Cuomo or Feinstein, then yeah, youre right.

One of my favorite jokes so far was last week, when his brother in law insisted on opening the pickle jar, and he let out a really frustrated "I know how to open a pickle jar!"

at least Vermaelen looked ok again, so we might actually have some competition in the centre back area. I've honestly haven't been this excited since the 2007 season, but I'm still waiting for us to crash out of all the competitions in February
