he was a registered Democrat, no? I thought he was covering the convention. also he had that haircut because of the chemo.

Danny Woodhead, for sure. All that grit.

I still like Tom Scocca, but that's about it.

Не говори. В Алмате их можно по пальцам пересчитать

make sure you get the new edition of Roadside Picnic though - the SF Masterworks translation is pretty horrible, and I heard the new one is much better

It basically made my mum cry - were from Kazakhstan and that little side plot just so accurately described the situation our country found itself in

So extra running time will now finally let us see '10 minute sketch that should have been 4 minutes long' instead of the customary 8?

I never liked Anders, mostly because if you flirt with him, he goes all "stay away from me, i am just so broken, i will hurt you", which is a very unattractive trait.

would really recommend seeing Lapshin (absolutely beautiful movie) - its somewhere on the Internet with pretty bad but manageable subtitles.

Ive got three beers, and an evening devoid of work or people - Brewdog's Punk IPA, Dead Pony Ale, and 5am Saint.

I agree - Darktown was particularly disappointing. I liked the idea of Kirkwall during the day and night being two different places, but they didn't really go anywhere with that concept.

Just finished Dragon Age II (didnt play Origins), and I loved it. The gameplay got a bit repetitive, but I found the story quite unique - the jumps in time, the way the relationships flowed - that this all happened in the course of one game was actually quite ambitious. Also, I felt much closer to Kirkwall than i do

Peter Falk. He's my TV/Film Grandad

Yeah and they meet the King? I didn't watch the last Christmas special, but my mum did, and since she refused to even describe it to me, it must have been pretty bad.

Downton Abbey for sure. Season One is still pretty good, because of how much they leave unsaid, and all the melodrama hasn't become tiresome yet. Season Two is awful, and probably as bad as the new stuff.

This whole thing seems weird to me, as an outsider. The UK electoral system is really fucked up, but the one good thing is that its one election every 4-5 years, and then the people who got elected get more than a year before they have to go into campaign mode, and forget about governing.

Ill probably end up buying this - playing as Gaige in BL2 was one of the most fun experiences Ive had in gaming.

Im in charge of hiring actors from the Wire

My prediction: killer first episode, ok second and third, rest is atrocious, finale just good enough to make you think "Next season will definitely be different!"
