Because going away from home and meeting people of different backgrounds and beliefs and learning about worldly concepts is antithetical to the conservative belief that only America matters and only white, straight, upper-middle-class males matter.  

Entire game felt like a chore. A chore, wrapped in incoherent, indecipherable bullshit of a Hideo story.

I wonder if this is one of those things that comes down from a high level creative and some people along the way look at it and grimace but ultimately don’t speak up because they’re not in any position to or maybe they hope someone else will.

I bet when coming up with the concept for the game they thought to themselves: “Should we give everyone Guy Fawks masks or is that too on the nose?”

First, they came for the people who misuse ‘First they came...’ by Martin Niemoller, and I did not speak out because I was not a person who misused ‘First they came...’ by Martin Niemoller.

I’m sure there are references that could be made to get the intent across without appropriating a poem written about the Holocaust to sell your game that makes mouth noises towards social issues but only on a surface level.

She was trying to play the victim while being the bully at the same damn time. Like how crazy cop Karen did with her whiny egg mcmuffin rant. White women have been able to weaponize their tears for too long.

Oooh! Does this mean I can carry a squirt bottle and just wet these bitches down when they step up? Because I can truly see me doing something just like that, can’t I?

I don’t think I fully appreciated this until Trump gained power.  Anti-intellectualism is a scourge.

I love an entire political party who has spent a couple generations defunding the schools telling other people they need to learn things.

What I think is particularly notable is that because she mistakenly thought they were city workers, she felt she had a right to harass them (her tax dollars), but I would bet my life she is a #bluelivesmatter stan with no acknowledgment that police are also paid by tax dollars and therefore should be held accountable…

Easy to see how Trump got elected. He PERFECTLY represents these people. He’s just as petty, stupid, and arrogant as they are.

Growing up, my mom’s Spanish accent got made fun of once, she laughed it up and said her French is much better since English is her third language. She then asked the 90s Karen (with the Rachel hair) how many languages she spoke. Mom shuts fuckery down real quick.

Why does she need to speak English, did she randomly go to you and speak at you in Spanish for no reason and record herself doing it for her followers?
