I absolutely love my hacked Wii. Got a 500GB hard drive attached that is almost completely full - every halfway decent Wii & Gamecube game ever, a large bunch of PS1 games, every N64 game I liked, and every single GB/GBC/GBA/Genesis/SNES/NES game that ever existed. Oh and Netflix.

it's not mostly psychological. it's completely mathematical. the slower you pay the high interest ones, the more money you will pay over the life of the loan. it is VERY significant!
