As nice as the idea of sleeping naked is on paper, I have to compromise for practical reasons that mostly involve possessing male anatomy. It’s simply wildly uncomfortable for me to sleep without support from my briefs. So I tend to sleep in a light t-shirt and underwear, but no pants or socks. This allows my body to

If anyone says Pineapple I may throw something

As much as I agree with this sentiment, I feel like the game would be much harder to mod if it had originally been in C/C++. Java is much easier to inject code into, and this ease is part of why the modding community is able to thrive despite some major, sweeping changes to the underlying game engine over the years.

I really don’t understand why there isn’t an app I can download for every major television channel that simply livestreams the content on the channel, advertisements included. I wouldn’t be able to block or even easily ignore those ads because they’re embedded in the video stream, and better yet, they’d be able to

I think the whole concept of “loading” is blurred in this game, since so much of it is being generated on the fly anyway. It’s not so much that the game has to read things from disk, it’s simply that it can only handle so much going on around the player and remain performant.

No ads in the comments here. I disabled my adblocker and see just the usual two banners up top and over on the side. Check for any suspicious apps, you may have malware on your phone. (Yes that’s a thing.)

If the NX is really going to be a handheld, then it’s not competing with the Xbox or the PS4.

Nope. I suddenly care a LOT less about trying to collect things in this game. This is my very, very least favorite practice of a lot of companies offering collectibles right now. If I can’t collect everything, and I *know* I’ll never be able to collect everything, I’m sorry but I’m just not interested.

I don’t think the game’s on-screen display is tied to the server pings. It updates your position visually as often as it can, based on your phone’s local GPS coordinates. But it doesn’t actually transmit the position you see to the server that often. This is a common UI trick to make an app feel more responsive when

I realize I’m seeing several different shots of the same person on the same day with different lenses, but my brain looks at that animation and sees a timelapse. He’s getting *older.*

For being suicide to put such old hardware in a gaming console, this is precisely what Nintendo has been doing for *years.*

I think in this case, if the reports can be trusted, said gunman had already (a) killed or assisted with the killing of 5 other officers at this point, and also (b) had exchanged fire with the negotiating officers, in an obvious attempt to kill even more.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been having MUCH better luck playing at night in the states. (Central Time here.) When the servers aren’t completely overwhelmed, the game is actually responsive and quite playable.

I hate that nakedness is such a taboo, because it causes weird arguments like this. Not only are parents not discussing sex with their kids, it seems they’re actively trying to hide it from them.

That is not entirely true. The primary technological component of the Ghost in the Shell series is the Brain Case, which allows a human mind to interface with digital components. Hell, the entire Laughing Man story arc only works because pretty much everyone has a brain case; the few people who were able to see his

I appreciate that in the last panel on that page, it’s Fred holding *Wilma* back. She’s seeing red, and it’s great.

My understanding from actually having *watched* Flashpoint is that the Flash goes back in time, but intentionally decides *not* to save his Mom, and chooses instead to leave his current timeline intact. He says goodbye to her, but still allows the reverse flash to kill her, despite being technically able to change the

To be quite fair, the piranha in question is actually a giant, malevolent flower. It is plant like, and nothing at all like a fish.

I lost an hour to that at least. I felt like it was generally easier to observe the kids behavior, and look for people who were surprised (tubes flipping under them unexpectedly, caught by a wave) as they were most likely to panic and start to do the arm flail thing. Even then though, some kids in this situation were

I imagine this will be solved quite simply by placing liability (and therefore blame) on the owner of the car.
