I think their response to this thing is amazing.

You know, someone really needs to do one of these comparisons between the Xbox 360 and the PS4 versions of Minecraft.
Not to mention the plethora of tutorials and software available to do this on your own with a bit of Googling. (Assuming you have lots of floppy drives lying about for some weird reason.)
I still assert that if the next Nintendo device could simply make phone calls, I wouldn't *need* to have two competing devices in my pocket.
This reminds me a little bit of Final Fantasy VIII. (Yes, that one everyone loves to hate for its complex (and, frankly, broken and overpowered) junction system.) One of the GFs you can earn fairly early on allows you to learn Enc-Half, and then Enc-None; with either of those equipped, you literally won't run into any…
I've done some reading on this, and I've learned that it's not quite so difficult as I thought. Shader effects are at least somewhat possible to cross-compile (though this isn't as efficient as rewriting them in OpenGL directly, several translation utilities do exist) and there are open source implementations of…
That is correct; SteamOS essentially runs Steam and nothing else.
There is actually very little difference; that's the whole point of the console really.
Fixed an issue that caused Sims to leave their Toddler inside a bar at closing time.
We always called this practice self-documenting code. The code should be readable and it should be obvious what the code is *doing.* The documentation is simply there to explain why.
I actually had trouble understanding what the "trick" did, but this explanation makes it make perfect sense. So if I'm following correctly, the trolling group sent data to the NTP server, spoofing it to look like their target had sent the request, and the NTP server (which would be on a whitelist naturally) went ahead…
That's obvious / what I meant. :)
Even that's not true anymore; the Wii U automatically downloads and patches disc games for me. It's a big step up from the Wii system in terms of online stuff.
This is also really great for deciding what clothes to throw out. If something stays on the right side for a long time and you consistently skip it because [insert excuse here], it's safe to throw it away. You don't *really* need it, and it's just taking up space.
Well, the key here is the definition of "some equipment." Usually, a good DDoS attack is brought about by access to a botnet; literally hundreds or thousands of computers that are working together to send a flood of traffic across the internet. Point them all at the homepage of one server, have each bot in the group…
How is it the parents fault for assuming that an item the store sold them as "New" was actually new, and had never been used? When I buy something new, I don't expect there to be any data on it. I *certainly* don't expect to have to inspect something intended as a child's toy for traces of pornography. I don't think…
I'm the same way here in South Texas. What is it with the British thing anyway? It's like people believe that only foreigners would take the time to enunciate things properly.
My favorite way to do this remains bittorrent sync, though it does require a bit of technical know-how to get set up. (It's really easy on windows, rather tricky on linux. I guess it has a GUI for mac? Never tried it.)
Actually, I've owned one iPhone (3G), hated it, went Android and never went back. I regularly use Windows and Linux depending on what the task at hand requires of me, and I tend to prefer open platforms and building my own machines when possible.
No, no, stop liking what I don't like! Stop having fun with that thing— STOP!
