The corner piece alone makes it unsolvable; it's impossible to put the two shaded regions on the same side.

You might give it a second go in Creative mode then. It removes the tedium and gives you all you need to build with right away. Pair it with something like WorldEdit (a popular mod for the game that lets you change large swaths of the level very rapidly) and it's possible to flex those creative muscles very

Go read up on Japanese bathhouses. While they're falling out of popularity, their culture is *rather used* to seeing nudity in a non-sexual way. There's not as much shock value for it, so it can be used as humor without coming off as horridly offensive.

Oh... oh wow. Humanity... I've lost all faith now.

I just can't wait for the murder suspect whose Minecraft obsession is clearly the cause of his violent behavior.

Bonus points for being able to actually remove your pants in the water without drowning.

They haven't announced anything that I'm aware of. I'm not sure if Microsoft has the right infrastructure to pull that off; then again, they're usually good about keeping projects under wraps when they want to.

That is precisely the reason actually. The difference between an AMD processor (x86) and a PowerPC processor is like the difference between English and Chinese. They can both essentially do the same thing, but they go about it in vastly different ways.

This exactly. Nintendo have to be very careful about their ads; I wouldn't even do the football thing anymore in this market, what with the Xbox sporting a TV guide. It makes the console seem like it has extra features that it doesn't.

Well, yes of course. But at the time, they looked the *least* terrible, and the controls were the *best* compared to everything else that had been tried.

More importantly, you can tweak your graphics settings on a PC and decide what's important to you. Would you rather have high resolution textures up close? Make that a priority. Would you rather be able to see far into the distance? Turn the textures down and crank up the view distance. For me, shadow quality is a

This looks like much ado over nothing. The interviewer poised that question as a direct attack, the interviewee wasn't expecting it at all, tried very hard to come up with a good response for it on the spot (Achieved that goal, I think) and then the interviewer continued to press more awkwardly, as though he didn't

I agree largely here. My biggest complaint with Brawl is the tripping mechanic; even if I could have gotten myself to a decent competitive level there, random tripping can completely throw the flow off of the more technical aspects of things.

My guess is that the orthographic projection would defeat the depth slider. This approach allows them to emulate the original look and feel, but still let the players see depth with the 3D slider on. It's not *correct* depth at all, but I doubt anyone will really notice; it looks believable.

Nonsense; that's my dream job. I'm not ashamed to admit it.

But it kind of does; both new consoles are launching *this month* and they have a new call of duty to sell with it? I'm not even studying business and I can see the logic going on here: Cha-ching. For all parties involved.

I tend to agree with you on the windows front. Plus, this isn't really a fair issue to bring up with a Mac OS comparison, as that's designed to only run on a very small subset of hardware, sidestepping the issue entirely. (Ask anyone who's tried to set up a hackintosh and you run into the same issues there.)

Well, keep in mind that when the law was written, $500 was a *great deal of money.* Inflation then happened, that's not so much the case anymore, but many of these laws haven't been updated to reflect the new value of the dollar.

If you're running an older HD set with component cables, many adapters exist to convert an HDMI signal to component (reg, green, and blue) for your set to use. If it's old enough to not support HD (a standard 4:3 set) then yes, you're stuck.

I've always gamed on a PC, so this confuses me. When you voice chat on a console, does it typically do game audio on the TV set and voice chat over the headset?
