Student safety would be shown as a priority and that rape culture has no place in a university environment.

I’ve been working with a very new group (we formed towards the end of 2016) dedicated to ending Campus Sexual Assault. You would think that complying with Title IX and with Cleary would be good for a school, but nope! If we don’t think/talk about it, it never happened.

Don’t look at news reports about my alma mater, Eastern Michigan University, a few years ago. They covered up a rape and murder on campus......and then wonder why I don’t donate to the school.

I knew a guy that had been an on-campus security guard at a big Christian University. He said I wouldn’t believe how often they covered up sexual assaults on campus. Their promotional materials always proclaimed how proud they were to have 0 sexual assaults, crime, etc.

i work at a rape crisis center with on campus survivors. colleges are always so concerned about protecting the rights of the rapist that they so so so so often fail the survivor. its disgusting. because remember, they want both parties tuition money for as long as possible.
