Yeah, pixel hunts are never fun. I’m glad those are mostly gone in modern games.

I agree they are a bit dated and frustrating, but I miss when most games didn’t hold your hand through everything. Modern point and click adventures, the ones that aren’t retro throwbacks, are basically just interactive TV shows.

Doom was a great game before the patch and this patch fixes everything that’s wrong with it. Game sites don’t generally update reviews after updates, though. They’re judged on the condition when they are first released.

That was what I was afraid of. I think I’ll skip this one. These alternate movement systems are interesting but rarely make for good complete games.

Does moving around in Dandara ever get tedious? It kind of looks like VVVVVV, where you have rooms that would be very easy to navigate except in the way the game limits your movement.
