the rest of the world cities have manage to do so. same with proper sewer systems, reliable tap water or grounded power lines. much smaller poorer countries manage to get basic infrastructures running.

I also don’t think bears typically think of humans as prey. The ones who did are mainly extinct cause people don’t tolerate that shit. As well, a bear would not see a toddler as a threat, just too little, so I find it to not be completely unbelievable that a bear might not just immediately eat a little kid it came…

Yeah, I don’t know anything about babies or bears but I have definitely read lots of stories over the years about animals taking care of babies that aren’t theirs so I am confused as to why it’s written off as if animals never do that and only humans would?
