Honestly, that doctors or researchers can't be bothered to account for body weight consistently horrifies me.  I get that doing math is hard, and a nuisance, but if vets can do it people who treat people can do it.

Ya, unions didn't just die naturally.  There is a strong faction in America that views wages as an expense and seeks to minimize them.  This makes sense for an employer, but not for a society.  Gutting unions, and even taxing wages in my opinion are unhealthy results from this misguided effort.
