Thank you. As fun and funny as Scream 1 was it was never used to downplay the horror or extreme violence and also didn't distract from the well drawn character at the center of it Syd.

I also loved how the first Scream had really likable characters or in the case of Gale Weathers dynamic characters. I will also stand up for Matthew Lillard in the first one. He's great.

Wow really 2 at the end. I don't get that at all. While not as fantastic as the first the second is still very engaging and made by someone who is clearly still into the series. The ranking should go like this.

This movie always felt like light Brett Easton Ellis to me. I mean why watch this when you can read Ellis.

I'm really hoping that the Waif didn't kill Arya and she isn't wearing her face. Mainly because as incredulous as her scenes are I loved it when she finally said "I am Arya Stark of Winterfell". It took a while but I kind of felt awesome that she said that. I would be annoyed if it turned out Arya died in the cave.

PSH might not have looked liked Capote exactly but he completely inhabited the character. Its a totally lived in performance.

that's an amazing opening scene that doesn't get talked about enough. Then again I love that movie including the ending.

so true the Bruce Willis stories in it are gold.

Infamous is very good but Capote is great. Its still amazing to watch Capote and think that it was Miller's debut film. The imagery is gorgeous and his control of tone is absolute. Also the script is just a lot meaner and hits home more.

If you've never read The Devils Candy I would highly recommend it. Its riveting.

because the first movie made a ton of money. That's why.

Uggh I hated Babel. Such misery porn.

Wonder if he's talking about Singer or Brett Ratner?

Wow actor in Marvel adores script. What exactly was he supposed to say. This isn't news.

Like I said above I really don't understand how anyone can read the novel and not realize that Ellis is against Bateman and its satire. Its obvious. Mary Harron said that in just about every interview regarding the movie. I also find it to be an extremely controlled book. Just because its not subtle or not short

I'm sorry but this article is kind of ridiculous. I love the movie and it should be given a lot of credit for adapting a seemingly unadaptable book but all that humor and satire that the author talks about is right there in the book. The book is hysterical and Bateman is pathetic in the novel. The movie is actually

whoops well great movie. And Amadeus is a wonderful film.

Shaffer wrote Sleuth right. I've never seen the play but the movie with Caine and Oliver is wonderful. Don't see the remake.

I think the white album is great.

Punch Drunk is so underrated. Its amazing how dense that movie is.
