I didn't find Riggan an interesting character at all. The scene with Norton and Stone on the roof actually felt like real characters who I cared about. They were the best scenes.

I've heard really good things about this so I'm still curious to see this. Also the plot summaries seem only vaguely like Sweet Hereafter.

the movie made no sense even after reading the book. You must have seen a different competent version of the film.

exactly its a great film and a great performance.

I have to disagree about Jeremy Irons. He was fantastic in Reversal of fortune which was a great movie overall.

If it follows the book its nothing like Twin Peaks. Boy do the books get more and more science fiction and weirder as the trilogy goes along.

exactly Vice is terrible and was a box office bomb that will be quickly forgotten about.

I can't believe Inherent Vice was nominated at all. What a terrible film. Its boring and unfunny and anyone who thinks that it will win anything is delusional.

Loved Fargo not sure what the problem was.

Inherent Vice isn't good

Its funny I just finished reading A Study In Scarlet. To be fair while the section is weirdly separate from the rest of the narrative the things he rips into such as the Meadows Massacre and the Avenging Angels were very real things.

Thats a weird comment about a false yarn in Titanic. It was historical fiction and like any historical fiction novel Cameron is perfect justified to create fictional characters in his fictional film.

The movie was terrible. It deservedly bombed at the box office

Whats eating Gilbert Grape is such a good film. Very well done.

Isn't there a 2nd twist in the story where it suggests that Shooter has become a real person somehow.

You realize a lot of people hate it. I'm pretty sure that's why it has a mediocre rotten tomatoes score and it bombed at the box office

Love this podcast. I know a lot of people in these comments hate for some reason but I replay these episodes so much more than Flop House or We Hate Movies although I do like those podcasts.

If we're going by album sales and grammys than yes they're a big name.

its a terrible movie don't bother

not really
