A new car in the teens?  Which decade did you time-warp back to?

Now playing

Someone’s never heard of the Ferd F-TeenThousand, and it shows.

By their logic, an AWD Sienna is an SUV.

It’s called 25 years of advancement. Your cell phone can also run circles around your 1997 desktop.

I think you’re a couple years behind. 2023 F150 with max tow package on a 3.5L EcoBoost has max tow capacity of 14,000 pounds. That’s a whole car more than 10k pounds.

Comments about needing better infrastructure (lines, edges, etc.) are simultaneously correct - and yet laughable. They fail to understand the massive number of lane miles out there, most of it in rural (and very rural) locations. What is the magnitude of cost in putting down stark and clear lane markers in these

“...screenshots show that the dealership’s Facebook account “liked” the county club’s posts that were promoting the F-150 prize”

The high horsepower output is a byproduct of the fast charging.  The faster that you can move power in equals the ability to discharge power.  In essence, the power is free so you might as well offer it.

I too used to be skeptical about EVs on long trips. 200 miles is weak but most EVs surpass that. We have a 3 year old ICE Range Rover which gets 400 miles a tank and a new Taycan which gets about 280 miles per charge. We only take the Taycan on road trips now and it’s really not been an issue stopping to charge every

Stopping once every 5-6 hours for 7 minutes is not a normal use case for most humans.  There’s no need for electric cars to try and meet this completely unrealistic scenario

Hence the need for government intervention. People get all bent out of shape having to stop for 20 minutes in 400 miles instead of 7 minutes in 400 miles because their precious all of 13 friggin minutes is more important than weeding us off foreign oil or reducing pollution. Ain’t nobody that important. Suck it up

i like how you were able to just nonchalantly take the 10 minute charge time discussed in the article triple it because otherwise you’d find yourself comparing a 10 minute stop to your 7 minute stop and that just won’t do

You misspelled “ruin every car they are put on”.

Barf. Those all look like cheap Pep Boys specials.

While i don’t think this question has a definitive answer, Jaguar E Type, Alfa Romeo Type 33 Stradale, Merc Benz 300 SL are deservedly among the favorites. I’m just surprised nobody seems to have mentioned the 1974 Countach LP400 yet.....just look at it. The later 1980s versions became excessively gaudy, but the

This may seem a bit funky, because of my previous comment a couple QOTD’s ago about “manual elitists”, but the 5th generation Viper is my vote for the best looking.

Every time I see a classic Mini I am ear to ear with smiles. The proportions. The cheery round headlights. I don’t think a car needs to be a supercar with long clear headlight lenses to be the best looking.

ThEY aRE FOrcInG EVs oN Us!

The only reason FWD is better than RWD is because the weight of the engine is over the driving wheels in FWD. In EVs where the weight is more evenly distributed, there’s no inherent traction advantage in FWD.
