Exactly. The fake baby was supposed to be cringe-worthy. All the ladies thought it was terrible.

“...if time and distance have taught us anything it’s that there are many aspects of the show that have tended not to age well. (Like, you know, the glaring lack of representation, their treatment of trans sex workers, the bi-erasure...”
While I think everyone has the right to determine whether they can handle alcohol or not, I did find it amusing when Luann said the only time she’s had a problem with alcohol was when she fell in the bush. Ummm... what about when you assaulted that police officer?
She didn’t say depression is beautiful. She said she’s learned to find her own depression beautiful. Depression is different for everyone; I don’t see the harm in her trying to see the positive side of her mental illness.
Then maybe don’t go to brunch?
Two parties does not a trend make.
Nowhere in my post did I describe what that in-store experience would look like. I purposefully kept it vague because there are many different ways to make retail better. Some cost money and some don’t, and if retailers had implemented some of these ideas ten years ago, it might have actually saved them hundreds of…
“Like most brick and mortar retailers in the past decade, J. Crew couldn’t compete with online retailers like Amazon, a broader problem for the industry at large.”
It won’t. It’s an FX on Hulu exclusive.
You don’t see how it looks bad for a hospital to let someone visit their premises without a mask on, potentially endangering the lives of the patients they’re trying to treat? Did you really need that explained to you?
I just wish the Mayo Clinic would release a statement saying he willingly violated their policy. First they deleted their tweet, now they’re completely silent. It makes them look bad.
In the book, the price is kept low so Elena can give it to people who may not normally have the opportunity to live in Shaker.
I thought the show was so much better. There’s so many characters and because the book is so short, they all come off as one-dimensional. And I thought making Mia and Pearl black added a lot more layers to the dynamic between Mia and Elena.
If you’re trying to get people to watch Tuck Everlasting, maybe don’t give away the ending.
That Elisabeth Hasselbeck video is insane. 1. Using her own child to help her retaliate against another adult. 2. Scolding her child for saying “yes” instead of “yes, ma’am.” 3. And (maybe this is just me that finds this part weird) complimenting her child with a “good boy” like he’s a dog.
I don’t know, maybe you should’ve kept that to yourself? I don’t wanna shame anyone for their drug use, but it also feels like a weird thing to come out with. I know poppers are technically legal and objectively not as bad as other drugs, but they’re still really dangerous and their effects are wildly unpredictable.
(Bravo wouldn’t touch this with a 10' pole.)
I know people will be stupid regardless, but maybe it would be less confusing if the entire country was under the same stay-at-home mandate.
I think they’re very stupid too, but I’m giving them a pass because everyone is looking for joy/normalcy during this hellish reality.
