I think you are just kind of a snowflake my friend... nearly all my friends de-tasseled over the summers and also bailed hay (when work was available).

It wasn’t terrible, it was the exact kind of work 15-25 year olds should be doing at that age if they haven’t graduated from a college or tech school yet.
