Here’s another example taken from my life right now. My AC/Furnace is going out. I’m going to need to replace it soon and I expect to spend between 7-10k.

Like for example maybe you don’t technically need a car loan, but if the alternatives are going to cost more than the car (Uber, etc), waste all your time (the bus), or simply make you less money (a closer job), the car loan, even with the debt and interest that entails, is probably your best option.

That’s really bad advice: how is some stranger supposed to assess risk and offer you a car or home loan if you have no history?

If I can get a 0-0.9% loan on a car and I have the cash, I would rather invest that cash into a high yield savings account or a fund such as Vanguard.

Aside from a mortgage, debt is NOT a tool for most people.

The replies to your comment depress me. I completely agree. I owe nothing but my mortgage. It makes life so much easier and less stressful. I will never have another car payment. I can’t imagine how much money I pissed away over the years.

I’m not surprised you missed the point of the article. The goal was to get you to think critically about your left wing sources but clearly that is a lost cause.

Yes? Because that is standard procedure for sensitive data: you make the data unrecoverable.

I patiently await your reasoning for why my data is not valid in your eyes.

You mean “followed standard security procedures to sanitize data”?

Yeah, that makes even less sense. I have no idea what that has to do with the conversation. I can tell from your replies though that if it were a Republican that deleted 33,000 emails in an effort to hide what he/she was doing, you wouldn’t be making excuses.

Ahh.. Since you can’t come up with an intelligent argument, you just resort to making things up.  It just keeps getting more pathetic.  Keep it up though.

It’s really not, and the fact that you can’t tell the difference speaks to your own comprehension more than anything else.

I noticed that some people lash out when they don’t have the cognitive ability to construct an intelligent argument.  I feel sorry for you.

That still doesn't equal English.  I suppose your point was to be petulant without making an intelligent point.  I guess you were successful under those terms.

It’s exactly what you said.  It's fine if you want to backpedal from it.  You are making silly claims without supporting it.  Just claiming there is evidence to support your one-sided views is not the same as actually providing it.

It was a lesson I learned the hard way when I was young and had no business buying on margin.  I guess it scarred me.  Short selling is just as risky since there is no limit on your losses.  If I was going to bet against a stock I would use options.  Options can be very risky but at least you can the potential losses.

So your claim is that if someone is not indicted, they are not a liar.  I see.  You must be a real fan of Trump. Your personal opinions does not equal an "objective measure".

You are correct.  My mistake.

Of course the liberals are just as bad.  You just lean to the left so you are more likely to ignore it from them.  Everyone is like that.  People on the right are going to look past some of Trump's crap because he isn't Hillary Clinton.
