Yeah the ride is harsh and the turning rad is crap (5mm wheel spacers help a little). As a sedan, there are better offerings. As a wagon that is manual, there’s really not much else out there. The S4 avant and maybe the BMW 535xi estate but even those are no longer available to us in MT in north America.

Diesel VW shoppers don’t equal diesel 1/2 ton truck shoppers. Diesel is very accepted in the P/U market. I can’t see that being an issue. Nissan and Dodge have gone that route. Chevy has the 2.8 that will “eventually” end up in a 1/2 ton. It only makes sense the F-150 follows suit.

This is right on par for this amount of miles. These things are super fun to drive, easy to work on and fly below most anyones radar (even a few Jalops it seems) Not a day goes by where I don’t look forward to driving mine. I just want it to snow already...NP all day long.

Good post! Some of these people need to go back to the 80’s,90’s and even early 2000’s to re-evaluate what sort of horsepower is really needed. 250 HP with 310 ft-lbs is plenty for any normal street driving.
