Youre right about a speed shop car being faster. Keep in mind tho...cheap, fast, reliable.....choose two. There's a lot of engineering that goes into these type of cars not found with speed shops. The right lane is not the merging lane....that's the acceleration/deceleration lanes that merge on to and off of the freeway. I live where we only have 3 lane (sometimes up to 6) hiways. I agree you aren't impeding someone if there is a left lane open for passing but I don't agree that the middle lane is for cruising.…

Its funny you say that because on the 400 series freeways here in southern Ontario (Toronto area) its the right lane that is close to empty with a ridiculous number of ppl in the center lane and a good amount in the left.

I think two things need to change. First they have to ticket impeding drivers who hold ppl up and simultaneously ticket those who pass on the right.
