I also watched Indie Game: The Movie and came away with the impression that he was not, as you put it, a total ass. Maybe we have different measures of what we consider to be ass-like behavior, but all of the complaining he did seemed to stem from either his patience running thin over years and years of internet

Ah, okay. I hadn't looked up any info that specific about the devs.

Actually, ironically, I believe I was incorrect with that second point....

Yeah, I that's one hell of a ripoff if you're stuck with some proprietary USB memory. I mean, the Wii comes with an SD card slot — you'd think they would use that as opposed to the USB ports on the back, even.

Looks promising!

Go to Kotaku Core, like Burnt recommended, or just pay more attention when you're browsing. Kotaku Melodic, as with all the "programming blocks" is labeled with both a starting arrow post and a tag. Kotaku Melodic, by the way, was established to focus on music relating to games, if it wasn't obvious.

Instead of "save states" like most emulators tend to have (and could make most games too easy), I'd be fine with "pause states" instead. So, basically I want the functionality of being able to stop a game at any instant—including during cutscenes—, turn off the system, and revisit that game at the exact spot again

So this means those customers don't need to be online to play, since most useful functionality associated with the online connectivity of the game is removed during that period, right?

Well, Ghost in the Shell preceded Deus Ex by a good five years (for the movie, at least — the manga apparently started in 1989, eleven years before the 2000 release of Deus Ex).

It was the opposite for me, though I did end up finishing both.

Yeah, I saw that series on Dead End Thrills — it looks spectacular, even if it is lacking in the paper filter department. I think the element with the largest impact is the anti-aliasing; I would've gladly taken the game at 720p with anti-aliasing instead of this 1080p without it.

Ehhh... I like some dubstep, particularly when it's completely insane-sounding, but this was just boring.... I mean, if you're going to throw some crazy music in to the Last Guardian trailer for fun, you might as well go all out and put something like this in there:

Judging purely by this trailer, I'd say it's probably 720p. This is the official upload by Capcom, so I doubt they would upload a lower quality trailer than they would be able to. In other words, if they had 1080p footage to work with, they probably would've used that in this trailer.

No, I meant approximately 1.8k, as I originally wrote.

Indeed, I should have qualified the point of her being the only one the PR rep. helped by saying that it was according to her assessment of the situation at that time. There's a good chance that at least a few others had the same 'assistance' as well.

More like 1.8K, actually...

There are instances of "m" being pronounced by itself, but only when preceding an m-, p-, or b-mora (syllable). "M" takes the form of the usual "n" kana.

Cracklin' is definitely one of my favorites; it has a nice balance of texture and cinnamon flavor.
