Completely agree, this series was an absolute blast to watch.
That whole series was a lot of fun to watch. The crowd is so into the game, the cameras and mics pick up every bit of chatter from the players, the fielding was (generally) excellent, the pitching ridiculous, and the late-inning bombs were timed for maximum drama.

As a SF native, I’m always mixed on deciding to see theoretical SF movies or read SF stories, and I haven’t decided on if I want to see this yet.
as a fellow bay area native, this movie was so SF and it made me so homesick :( the music! the food! the richmond and the mission and the sunset!! And I missed this but someone on twitter pointed out that they were listening to KMEL during the car sex scene!! perfection.
What I loved most about Always Be My Maybe is Marcus and Sasha reminded me of people I went to school with. There was no point at which I felt like, “thats racist af. Who wrote this?!” Each of the characters felt like they were coming from an authentic place—even New Age Keanu, lol. And it represented a side of SF…
It always bothers me that so many recipes insist that onions and garlic be sauteed together at the beginning of the cooking process. To my taste, onions take at least five or ten minutes to get soft enough, and by that time the garlic is way overdone. I throw the garlic in for the last minute or so of the onion…
