Actually most of us do not receive much by way of training in that. It’s mentioned in passing, but that’s about it unless your agency decides to do training on it, and few do.

 There is a particular reason. Unlike most shows, this show gets a new lead over and over. That’s why they keep hearing about it, each time they get a new lead.

You know what? I’ve basically given up on doctor who because I’m bored of a space problem solver who can regenerate into a whole new actor always regenerating into an old white dude, or (if we’re lucky) a youngish white dude. Its such a myopic view of the concept!
