Pretty much.
''Only a Sith deals in absolutes''.
Which is an oxymoron and not stupid at all, as some try to suggest…

>Yes, because criticism of the Star Wars prequels didn't exist before Red Letter Media.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
There is a huge difference between criticism & unshameful b1tching,trolling & whining.
People who going out of their way only to do the latter for more than 7 years about 10-16yo movies is a clear indication

And i could do the opposite…

You wanted them to specificaly explain why Dark Side users'eyes change color?

>It's one less character,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
No, it's 2. Maul & Doou (or Qui-Gonn, depending on how you look at it) would go.

It's shocking how 70-90min rants that can be resumed to fallacious claims, double standards, uneducated opinions asserted as facts, footage manipulation & misrepresentations, bare facedlies, ignorance as to how these & big movies in general are made and a pure compulsive need to contradict eveything that happens on

Understood…
You speak for ''everyone'' yet again.
Dillusions of grandeur much?

>It's one less character, and I'd happily give up a character for one
with an actual arc.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Dooku being Qui-Gonn in TPM, would delete Maul & Qui-Gonn (or Dooku, whichever way you look at it).
Plus, you're totally missing the point of Qui-Gonn's character by suggesting that.
He was what

>Actually, Lucas did direct on location - Star Wars: A New Hope, the first movie in the series, BLADE57HRC.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Did i say he didn't?
I said he did it for the Prequels too.

>uhm, what? Palpatine wasn't in ANH.
^^^^^^^^^^^
So?

I quote tons of it:
1) So this is how liberty dies….with thunderous applause.
2) The ability to speak does not make you intelligent.
3) You want to go home & re-think your life
4) Army or not…you must realise….you are doomed!
5) You WILL suffer
6) You will try
7) Feel, don't think
8) Your focus determines your reality
ETC.ETC.E

I dare you to find some FACTUALLY bad dialogue in the Prequels such as these examples from the Originals:
1) Lando Calrissian: Yes, I said closer! Move as close as you can, and engage those *Star Destroyers* at point blank range!
Admiral Ackbar: At that close range we won't last long against those *Star

All of the merits and flaws except the fun of practical effects are present in both trilogies
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Practicl FX are present in both too.
In fact, EACH Prequel has more practical FX than the entire OT combined.

Yeah, cause you had soooo much more than 0 character development on Palpatine in the OT, right?

Last time i checked you didn't write the OT nor the PT.
Lucas wrote & co-wrote them.
What you feel it ''should'' be is just your perception (based on nostalgia for the OT) and opinion. Not a fact.

In a better written trilogy….blah blah…blah…bullsh1t….bullsh1t blah blah…… Roll this all that up in the context of a civil war, and baby,
you've got a tragedy going.''
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
That's not better.
You're dillsusional if you think that.
It only makes the SW universe smaller by having less

Oh, and lest we forget: Would it have killed George Lucas to get his lazy ass out of his Director's Chair and go on location once in a while?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
He did gothis a$$out of the director's chair and he DID go on location.
In fact, the Star Wars movie with the LEAST location shots is TESB. NOT a

So many wannabe/arm-chair filmakers (just like their god, Stoklasa) in the comments section spewing their ignorance & pretencious bullcr@p as some kind of fact that ''everyone'' agrees…it's not even funny…

''It's the work of a singularly untalented artist given unlimited
resources and no one to tell him no. The prequels are at least unique in
that regard.''
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Too funny…
That describes the Originals too.
FYI, Lucas didn't have unlimited resources. The movies had a budget (with inflation in mind about eual
