I don’t think you are entirely wrong anyway, the alternator absolutely shreds shields but I suspect the total TTK on purple armour still favours the 99. If it doesn’t its close enough that its not like your a dummy for using the 99 lol

Yeah it felt a bit weird to me that they put the new mods on all the guns that are pretty poor.. except the alternator which wasn’t used much but was pretty solid like the same camp as the flatline.

Alternator was always pretty legit if you wanted an all rounder that had very good hipfire, i’m not really sold on the 2020/Mozambique performances yet though i’ve not played enough games with them and tbh I don’t think i’ve been killed by them in a season 2 game yet.

If this is the case I think like others have suggested you’d actually like 14's combat once you were max level, its probably 20% slower than WoW’s but the enemy telegraphs are very nicely done in 14 lots of wide margins to help you min-max.

Depends why you are bored of WoW, I love 14 I think its superior in pretty much anyway that counts these days because the developers are clearly pushing for more all the time instead of resting on their laurels.

Your guilty of pretty much everything your complaining about here but sure i’d rather drop it i’m happy with my approach and my arguments enjoy the game ^^ and hopefully the OP does too if he decides to dive in.

One or two per thread with no other counter arguments is the majority, the games combat is WoWs combat they are the fucking same the fact the OP loves FF nostalgia but thinks the combat is snooze speaks volumes about that (possibly).

This game is a MMO how hard is that to understand -_- If you hate WoW combat you’ll hate 14's and Rifts etc they have a massive amount of commonality.

No I didn’t, It says “I suspect” meaning its my view that its in that direction and in answer to another guy I said its the most popular opinion because it is, the other being because it makes the game more accessible but that is really the same argument if you follow that line round.

This is a rant I can get behind, I’ve bitten off more than I can chew once or twice but I always make sure I make it to the edge to get a grip on how I want to get down a slope. The people that I suddenly find sat mid slope always amaze me.

If you can’t even entertain the idea that they had a lean towards slowing the GCD to make it smoother on consoles you are pretty close minded this isn’t a case of misguided belief its a credible possibility. It really isn’t PCMR garbage its the most popular opinion for why since they released it, I play on console it feels great.

It is slow, the GCD is set at something fairly long because it makes the game far more enjoyable on consoles I suspect but its never going to be fast.

Not specific enough which is the whole point of why the term gets used tbh, its just broad enough without being too specific.

Pass. Metroidvania when not misused perfectly expresses what its talking about. Too many games get labelled as such but that a terms misuse doesn’t change that the term is good.
