I almost hope it's not true, and his parents (or at least one of them) are people we really don't expect. I mean, he's not gonna change the trajectory of his whole story just because the fans have figured it out way ahead of schedule, nor should he, but I just want to see the smugness wiped off of everyone's face

I was REALLY hoping Jon would ask Davos, ya know, "WHY?" But somehow, that didn't come up! Perfect opportunity for the writers to clear up Davos' thought process and motivation. But nah. We'll just have to accept "because Davos saw Jon Snow was a good person" as the reason behind it. Which, OK, sure, fine, I'll go

Always wondered what happened to that character, especially after they seemed to be setting him up to recur. Then he was just……gone.

Just give us the flashback revealing Jon Snow's real parentage already… We all know it's coming.

Well, I've been bitching about the disappearance of Rickon and the fact we never checked in on him, I think I jinxed it for the poor little (actually he's quite tall now) fella. He re-appears right at the foot of the most vile character on the show, and has his poor wolf's (RIP Shaggy Dog!) severed head tossed on a

It would suck if we didn't get at least one more season of Louie. I know it's a comedy, but it'd still be nice to have some sort of definitive ending to the show. And, this might speak more to my memory than the show, but I don't even remember the final episode of last season. So that's not exactly a very memorable

Yeah, I'm FAR from screaming "jump the shark!" at this moment just to be clear. It's the smallest tiniest nit I could ever pick, but this show has usually paid tremendous care to detail (at least with its major characters' stories) so I'm just a little surprised there wasn't more of a nudge to get Davos to this insane

Seriously, very little motivation beyond "Jon Snow seemed like a really decent dude." Shouldn't he also be interested in resurrecting Stannis and Shireen now too? Of course they'd need to find their bodies, and one of them is burnt to a crisp, but he doesn't know that. I'm not gonna get silly and say Davos should ask

Oh the ultimatum was def fake, but I was under the impression Aliser and the watchmen were playing along with it anyway, and left them alone to mull it over til nightfall to keep up the front. As I said in another post, that's probably pretty naive of me to think they'd leave that door completely unattended, so I'm

Yes he snuck out beforehand. So, yeah, maybe I'm being naive thinking Aliser Thorne & the Watchmen actually left them alone in that locked room. While I doubt they all stayed outside the door the entire day til nightfall, I'm sure a few watchers stayed behind to, ya know, watch.

That actually would have made a lot more sense, now that you mention it.

I'm a little fuzzy on the Jon Snow-Davos scenes from last season actually. I know they had a few, but maybe if I had re-watched (like I usually do before new seasons, didn't this time!) I would have picked up on just how much Davos apparently likes Jon Snow. I def would not have questioned Davos' desire to resurrect

Well, honestly, I couldn't tell if that room was connected to Melisandre's room, or even if not, they seemed close enough, and it didn't seem like the Nights Watch was outside their door the whole time, were they? Seemed like they gave them the ultimatum then left them, so even if their rooms weren't connected, I

I can get on board with that, it's the most likely the reason. I mean, I only had a second thoughts about it because Davos has been shown to be very anti-magic, anti-Red Woman, so for him to go to THIS extreme, bringing someone back to life, I feel like there should have been a scene to clarify his change of heart.

Yeah, which I assumed would have been a hail mary type of deal had Jon Snow's pal not returned with the wildlings backup yet. But he did, and they saved them, and they were safe, so… Why was Davos still interested in bringing back Jon Snow? Just b/c he was a good guy?

I can't sift thru all these comments before posting, so, sorry if this was already mentioned: anyone else feel like there was a scene missing between the opening scene at Castle Black when the wildlings came to the rescue, and the scene where Davos goes to ask Melisandre to resurrect Jon Snow? What prompted Davos, at

So they basically took the episode of Seinfeld when Elaine hires Newman and Kramer to kidnap her neighbor's annoying barking dog, and made it into a full-length movie? I like the sound of that!

The Host, Snowpiercer, this guy is 2 for 2 in movies of his that I've seen! Has he made more? I should probably look into that. Whatever he makes next though, I'm in, I don't care what it's about.

I saw it in NYC when it was only playing in, like, 3 theaters total in the U.S. This was when the plan was to only have the film be released extremely limited in theaters (obviously) and then on VoD before the insanely good word of mouth changed that and it got a wider release. But yeah, everyone in the theater was

I saw it in the theater with a friend, but I live alone, so when I got home later that night….. Yeah, the movie definitely has a residual effect that stays with you a while.
