Those “indie” games often have big names developing them, people who’ve been at the heads of larger mainstream companies and have hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding. They’re indie in the same sense that spaceX was an indie endeavor by Elon Musk.

I work in manufacturing, when a customer says they need 3 extra parts this month, parts that might cost a couple hundred bucks we tell them we can do it if you pay an extra $10000 and they fucking pay it. I keep seeing people claim Nintendo is shorting switches on purpose to generate buzz and that’s just stupid.…
