When I first started playing I had already heard complaints from others about how their first girl was basically a sacrifice, and already really liking the Asami Imai voice Levia (Envy), I picked the annoying little sweets-obsessed (Gluttony) girl Perpell.

Each fight with Trillion is also loosely timed. The overall battlefield is basically a lane and over the course of the fight Trillion will slowly advance down that lane. There is a ‘finish line’ at the end of the lane and when Trillion reaches it he will use a ‘full wipe’ attack that will one-shot you, period.

This is a *sequel*. The original Gal Gun came out a few years back in 2012 and NGNL actually drew on that concept directly.

I think that we can agree that the entire concept of “Twitch Plays Dark Souls” undermines how the game was meant to be played.

Truly a magical moment on the internet. Thousands and thousands of people having an outright party. It’s been famous online in Destiny tonight as well, Gallarhorns EVERYWHERE. Magnificent. I had one from 2nd week of release (stupid lucky bastard) but I bought two more just for shits and giggles.

Just because I had to look it up, thought I’d save some other curious folks the extra step:

Yea they came straight out and said that if any overseas fans were interested they should just import it, since the licensing difficulties basically mean it will NEVER see a localization outside of Japan.

Now playing

With Vocaloid it’s important to understand the distinction between the visual characterization and the actual song/vocaloid.

Very true. I cringe every time I hear “reddit” too.

It really is worth it, totally fun game, and I fully agree with Richard, the story felt like it fit in perfectly in the Persona 4 narrative. In fact, I thought it fit in better thematically than any of the P4Arena storylines since it went back to that underlying idea of self-acceptance.

Well, unfortunately there are pictures, just that everyone’s getting all excited about Pluto so they’re ignoring the Charon hype. Like Pluto, Charon is very interesting in that the surface appears very young, suggesting recent (~100mil years) resurfacing for some reason.

blahblahblah.

Hair is hard because to REALLY do it right, you’d have to do physics for every single strand, and no cutting corners on the non-visibles either since their behavior will impact the visible ones. Millions of physics ops every frame just for the hair.

The DDOS is impacting the authentication servers. They don’t have enough attack power to kill the actual PSN network. Basically if you can login then you’re all good. Just need to authenticate.

Keep doing god’s work and correcting spelling on three year old posts, Opie.

Vita owners who know Japanese or are patient enough to wait for Japanese games to get localize LOVE the Vita. There’s actually too many games to play.

You think it’s off-brand for them to develop their fun mobile game for iOS and Android both? Or do you think a big game development house like Bethesda would overlook iOS as a potential target platform for their project and cut out a huge portion of their potential user base?

It’s not the “more difficult language” or “different tools” aspect. It’s the many, many, many, many more lines of code necessary for a wider range of OS and hardware configurations that Android brings to the table, not to mention the additional testing, etc.

Because it’s an easier platform to develop for in terms of consistency of underlying hardware and game performance. Plus, mobile games market doesn’t tie into traditional games market as closely as you imagine so your personal experience of “gamers shunning Apple” doesn’t really pan out in terms of mobile game

The truth is that the statute exists so that if conditions dictate a slower speed is necessary then drivers should slow down. That statute does not allow for speeding, even if the flow of traffic is above the posted limit.
