I switched to Tidal from Spotify a year ago and am never going back. Its user interface is a little clunky, but the sound quality is 100x superior and it doesn’t always stop to buffer, which is something that enraged me about Spotify.

Was that the only reason you left him? I don’t know your situation, but if there were other problems in the marriage, then supplying THAT as the reason is—I’m sorry—it’s kind of the meanest thing you can do.

This is off topic and I’ve been off Jezebel for at least a week, but is anyone going to talk about this Netflix doc Nobody Speak? Currently watching and don’t know how to feel about it yet, but I want to know what people here think about it. If someone can point me to a thread, it would be greatly appreciated.

Too many people who like to consider themselves progressive are too apathetic to serve on juries and have no sense of civic duty. A shit ton of ‘em (young, self-described liberals) won’t even register to vote, so they’ll never be called upon to serve on juries anyway.

I agree about Lip but oh my god I can’t stand Joseph Fiennes. I find his older brother infinitely more talented and attractive, though not at all sexy.

I just tried watching Shameless (the American version) for the first time the other day and it was awful. I haven’t seen the British version and forgot it even existed, but now I know why I didn’t like the American series. The humor is off. Just doesn’t feel right.
