Sadly, many black-owned hair salons don’t know a thing about natural hair except how to relax it. This is why I do my own hair regularly, and only go to a salon twice a year for a flat-iron and trim. I found a few black-owned salons who will work with natural hair, but even when I go in with my hair already washed,…

I still have a problem with the fact that cosmetology schools don’t teach their students how to work with thicker, more textured hair, though.

If you believe most cops are good people yet say that they won’t hold their own accountable... then they are not good people. Giving cover to corruption, murder, and more is the opposite of good.
